Having been a stable block over 100 years ago all rooms are now fully refurbished and self-contained with their own front doors & En Suite, set in a peaceful, private courtyard, so no areas in any of the rooms are shared. All are finished and furnished to a high standard with period features The rooms sit in the grounds of a restored, thatched Hunting Lodge, parts of which date back to the 1500's. Steeped in history the Lodge and adjacent car park were used as a deer yard where young deer were brought back to until they were strong enough to be returned to the herd. The rooms in the old stable block are all unique in the way they have been constructed, vastly different from their previous life which was housing Polo ponies for the Comte De Madre in the early 1900 and before that the care of young deer over the winter. All Rooms have their own en-suite bathroom and private, distanced entrances.
